A social campaign for at-risk youth

I may not be able to keep fighting for money… but I will always have to fight for my dignity, because that's who I am.

The story, words, and media of Nick Diaz — turned into opportunity for at-risk youth through ShamrockWay.org. I protect what I love. Wear the words. Rep the cause.

The Campaign

From Stockton streets
to fighting for dignity.

Nick Diaz before the UFC 137 fight with BJ Penn
01

A kid from Stockton, California. Turned pro at 18. Raised by the streets, made by the cage — endless cardio, volume boxing, and a ground game forged under Cesar Gracie.

02

The fighting life. Across the UFC, Strikeforce, EliteXC and PRIDE he went to war with Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, and Robbie Lawler — and held the Strikeforce welterweight title. No act. No filter. He never played the game.

03

Brutal honesty. He said it himself: “My life's a mess. I'm not afraid to admit it.” That's not weakness. That's where everything starts.

04

Redemption is the campaign. This is for the kids who see themselves in that honesty — kids locked up or headed there, who need to hear it from somebody who's been through it and came out swinging. Nick's story, Nick's words — turned into real opportunity through ShamrockWay.org.

05

Fighting for dignity. Every shirt, every hoodie, every poster keeps the fight going — for Nick, and for the kids coming up behind him.

The story don't stop in the cage. Read the words. Then wear them.

Fighters are afraid of conditioning, they are afraid of getting tired, but I don't want to have anxiety or be afraid of anything. I can go 100 percent out there and never have to worry about getting tired.

Why This Is Personal

From Frank

“Nick Diaz was one of the only men to defeat me… and then pick me off the mat and raise my hand. That respect and honor is never forgotten. This site honors his career while supporting a very important cause: those young men left behind in the system.”
